DOUBLE VALENTINES' DAY 2014

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL THE LOVE BIRDS IN THIS PLANET

This Year, this Day is extra special for you and me! 14th February 2014 is really special as the Chinese Valentine's Day (Chap Goh Meh) and Western Valentine's Day (Feb 14th) fall on the
same day :)  Isn't it beautiful ? Isn't it romantic ... with extra portion of LOVE in the air !!

Anyone that we love, we care ... our parents, our children, our spouse, our BFF are our Valentines.

This year is extra special for me because I receive early Valentine's Day present from
Rose' World and Jascraft

Rose' World and Jascraft had co-sponsored a Valentine's Day contest and I am so blessed
to win the following sets of hearts shaped Valentine's Day Jewelry  :) It came with a personally hand-written notes too from Jascraft owner ...

I can insert my love ones photo into the heart-shaped pendant to be treasured forever :)
The bracelet with a touch of crystal-heart pendant is absolutely beautiful! Thanks again for
making this day EXTRA Extra Special :)
A close-up look at this specially handmade jewelry set, silver lining with touches of sweet pink ...

Can you see ... even when the camera captured this :  a heart-shaped goldy lights reflecting on the computer monitor (on the background) ...surprisingly phenomenon!

Since this day is double lovey dovey celebrations, I believe many couple will make proposal to their love ones. It will be perfect if one can combine the above Heart-Valentine Jewelry Set from Jascraft,  'Marry Me!' parfume from Lanvin (above photo) and a diamond ring to propose to their darlings while watching couples letting up lanterns with wishes written on it and young maiden throwing mandarin oranges by the lake .... on this Chap Goh Meh & Valentine's Day :)

All the Best and wishing all the readers here to "Treasure Every Moments,  Live Life to the Fullest and Love to the Beyond ............. "

COLOURS OF CHINESE NEW YEAR

HAPPY, HAPPY , HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE !!

It is less than a week now to greet and welcome this new year of Horse, as it galloping fast to bring happiness, prosperity, good health and abundant of wealth to us all :)

So, how's your Chinese New Year preparation so far? Almost there?
For myself, I have to decorate my home and office too. Since I am also incharge
of Office Administration, I decorated my office doors with the prosperous symbolic ornaments.
Have a look here ... Hampers with cookies like pineapple tarts, arrowhead chips also known as 'ngaku',  almond nut cookies, cashew nut cookies, love letters etc

Horse paintings and horse ornaments are my bosses' favorites too :)

Oh yes, what is the colour of Chinese New Year? RED of course!!
It is believe to bring good luck ....
Therefore, I need to go to the banks and other outlets to collect the RED packets
to make 'angpau' for the company's employees, friends, relatives and to make lanterns for hanging too!

Any variants of red are welcome! I love pink, maroon, Orange .........

Orange .... Yes ..... Oranges is a must. We need to bring oranges when we go visiting our families and friends' homes as a gesture of wishing them abundance of good luck and prosperity. The pronunciation for oranges in Cantonese is 'kam' which has similar sound as 'gold' too.  Imagine receiving gold .....ahem, ahem :D

My this Chinese New Year Check List almost done except I have not shop at my favorite outlet for
my Company Chinese New Year Gathering Luncheon outfit! Almost every year I will go to Kuala Lumpur City to shop for my Chinese New Year dress, simple and nice.... can wear during CNY
and also to work.

I must think fast, we are living in a fast moving world, suddenly my mind blink with the idea
"Eureka .... I have found it!" I can shop online. It is convenient and I can browse through just a click away ....

I remembered seeing the ads before on this online shopping, so I type Chinese New Year Collection.
A variety of designers dresses, blouses, skirts with vibrant colors are available. I am surprised that it also carries my favorite brand "Colours" ! So 'tunggu apa lagi?' I must quickly order when my size,
design, and colors still available, right ?

I would like to wish all my readers, family and friends here ...

The Reception Area with animated circle screens backdrop with birds and bees flying around the blossoming flowers.
Water elements can be found at many locations to enhance the beauty of this paradise
305 well-appointed guestrooms perfectly blend in the elegant and graceful oriental elements. Equipped with hi-tech facilities, rooms and suites are designed with fascinating charisma. There is a television fitted just above the bath tub too. The rectangular shiny mirror that you can see in the photo is actually a television indeed :)

Nourishing SPA is also available. Dive into the swimming pool or just relax in this red wine jacuzzi. You may also dip into the herbal pool.
Great place for photo shooting, 'outdoor - weddings' and seminars.

Carriage, horse riding, Western and Chinese restaurants, convenience store are on site.
Sunset captured on the first day of our arrival to this beautiful hotel.

Tips to travelers :-

You may contact or email the hotel (in advance before arrival) for complimentary/free of charge pick up from the airport. They also arrange free shuttle/limousine to the airport for guests checking out. Prior arrangement needed.

The hotel also provides free shuttle to RT Supermarket at 11 am everyday (2 hours advanced reservation needed). From there, you may get taxis, bus, RT Free Bus No. 1 - 11 to other destinations of interest. Nearby the RT Supermarket,
about 15 minutes walk you can reach Hainan Museum. Entrance is free and worth going.
A great way to understand the history of Haikou and Hainan, ethnic cultures and traditions.

Also a great place to shop at RT Supermarket. KFC is located in the RT Supermarket itself and McDonald is just the next block. There are tour agency, banks etc. You may take the RT No. 6  free bus to Wu Gong temple (Wu Gong Tse) - another tourist attraction. Senior citizens 55 years old and above get half price entrance fees.

However, points to consider is that the taxi fares are a bit pricey when you need to come back to the hotel at night as most taxis will charge more as they claimed that they can't get passengers after dropping clients at the hotel. Do bargain for lower fares, they might consider ....lol
